Zhu Liyue artistic concept

My work is not narrative, for glass materials give the work certain restrictions and regularity while the beauty based on the variation of contingency. In the process of creation, this kind of transparent material and I are not "use and be used" related, nor it is my expression tool. We are in dialogue, in discussion, in the common creation and expression, since it is my partner. This relationship brings a regularity and randomness to the works, and my acceptance of the relationship and the outcome becomes more and more open, and it no longer binds myself to the "perfection", which is actually my property as well as my works’ attributes and nature.
